    Review: King of Foxes

King of Foxes is the second installment in Raymond E. Feist’s Conclave of Shadows trilogy, following Talon of the Silver Hawk [review here].

King of Foxes sees a grown-up Talon who has to risk his soul in order to ingratiate himself with the nobleman who had his entire tribe butchered. It is faster-paced and more solid than the first book in the series, with more fleshed-out side characters and also more introspection on the part of Talon, who nevertheless remains annoyingly superior and swashbuckling.

If you can get past the protagonist, King of Foxes is a strong read.
