Big ol’ jetliner
Big plans for The Holiday Which Can Not Be Named: Have purchased tickets to visit the Old Country with Andrea.
We will jet away on December 15 and return on January 3, which will give us almost three weeks to gorge on Swedish Christmas food, spend time with my nephew whom I’ve never met, visit with my grandparents, and—if the Weather Gods permit—do lots of playing in the snow.
Unfortunately my wife will not be able to accompany us, which is sub-optimal but unavoidable this year. We’ll try to make up for it with plenty of video conferencing.
Remember: Cool people celebrate Christmas on the 24th.
