    Thanksgiving approaches

My numero Uno American holiday is barreling down upon us—the holiday that is dedicated to family, eating, and slack. There’s nothing to buy—unless you count the food—no pressure to decorate the hell out of your house, and no forced cheer.

After all, Thanksgiving is a family holiday, which means alcohol-fueled Jerry Springer-type breakdowns that will forever fester in your family history are the order of the day. Actually, when you think about it, it’s kind of like having a national Ingmar Bergman holiday.

Makes me sad to not have family in-country, it really does.

So happy thanksgiving to all of you, and remember, the only bad slack is no slack.
